The limoncello martini is a refreshing and citrusy cocktail made with limoncello, vodka, fresh lemon juice, and fresh rosemary. 


  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce limoncello
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 sprig of fresh rosemary
  • 1/41/2 ounce simple syrup (as needed) see note



  1. Combine rosemary sprig and limoncello in a cocktail shaker and gently muddle, infusing the natural rosemary flavor into the limoncello.
  2. Add lemon juice, vodka, and a cup of ice. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon slice pierced with a sprig of rosemary if desired.


Some limoncello brands are sweeter than others. If the cocktail tastes too tart or bland, you may need to add a little extra sugar to round out the flavors. Start with 1/4 ounce and add as needed!
